Carol Dougherty has over 27 years of property management experience encompassing both commercial and multi-family management. Currently Carol is a District Manager for Southwest Housing Management Company. Southwest Housing, is a fully integrated real estate company with in-house Development, Construction and Management divisions, and is one of the largest developers of quality affordable housing in the country. Throughout the last year, Carol has been directly involved in the supervision of 1400 units in the Houston area, housing over 400 Katrina evacuee families. As a former Vice President of Marketing and Training Carol excels in the achieving of and maintaining high occupancy levels and takes pride in her ability to educate others in the overall operations of property management. On a personal note Carol has been an active volunteer with the Washington D.C. Coalition for the Homeless, Habitat For Humanity, and a member of the Woman’s Public Relations Council of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
